I bought a 3inch heavy barrel Mod 82 from a friend who had a FFL who ordered the wrong gun accidentally back in 95. Anyway shot the gun a bit over the years. Good shooting gun no issues until around 2000 or so I noticed the barrel had rotated slightly. Did not seem to affect accuracy or reliability.

So anyway fast forward to about a month ago. I decided to try out Taurus’s warranty department. I sent it in on their dime. Called me today and advised me they had no parts to repair that gun. They would send me a new mod 82 4 inch as a replacement.

So long story short, how are the new mod 82’s?
