I have read contrasting reports on the compatibility of 9mm CZ-75B magazines with the IWI Jericho 941 9mm steel frame. I have a bunch of 75B mecgar factory mags and really want that Jericho now that it has a discrete rail and frame mounted safety. I'm only interested in the new IWI Jericho because I already have a 76B. This is going to be a bed-side gun.
I found this from a board saying they're NOT compatible:
"CZ75 magazine and clone compatibility chart
1. Pre-series 88 frame Tanfoglio/FIE/EXCAM (TA90) pistols CAN use CZ75 magazines and vise versa.
2. CZ97B uses the same magazines as the full-size .45 Witness. They are not identical to Tanfoglio OEM magazines, but they fit and function.
3. Jericho 941, Baby Eagle, Tanfoglio TZ75 Series 88 and later, FIE/EXCAM TA90, and Springfield P9 all Interchange .
4. Baby Eagle mags WORK in CZ-85 Combats and in 75Bs, but will NOT work in a pre-B CZ75.
5. CZ75 factory 15 round mags (9mm) fit in Sphinx AT2000 Police Specials, but CZ mags do NOT lock the slide open.
6. Action Arms AT-84 magazines WORK in Pre-B CZ75’s, but NOT vice versa. CZ75 Mec-Gar(16 rd) magazines WORK in the AT-84. Tanfoglio magazines Work in the AT-84.
7. Israeli (IMI) made CZ75 magazines WORK in pre-series 88 TZ75’s
8. CZ75 factory 9mm 10/15 rd mags will NOT work in an Baby Eagle, NOR will CZ75B .40 mags work in a Baby Eagle .40
9. The Tanfoglio 18 rd 9mm magazines made for the Large Frame .45/10mm/.38 Super Witness pistols will NOT fit Small frame Witness/Baby Eagle pistols.
10. BTA 90 88 series WORKS with Mec-Gar compact Witness/Baby Eagle magazines.
11. CZ SP01 19 rd mags Work in Jericho 941/Baby Eagles."
Anyone have some wisdom to share?
