The current production Model 25-15 is a taper barrel.

I was just eyeing these as well. For that money I’d buy a real heavy duty that’s been there. A nicer than average shooter grade.

Way too pretty for what it is.
They aren't common, but there are plenty of postwar H-Ds and many have been reamed for .357. Mine has not and begs to be handloaded up to standard .357 spec...just don't mix up those .38 ++P++s in with your regular stuff.

They should bring back a Retro-line of 4” M58-ish N-frames with notched rear sights and pinned front sight across these calibers: .38/.357mag, 41mag, 44spc/.44mag, .45acp and .45LC.
Sort of like S&W did with their Mountain Gun series. Remember those? I once saw a M58 that had been nicely converted to .45LC and it was the cat’s tits (could’ve been done by Hamilton Bowen. It looked like one of his “Rough Country” custom jobs). |

Not a horrible price for engraved, if that's your thing. I've got an original HD and a 520 so my N frame fixed sight itch is scratched.
Decent original HD can be had for $1200-ish. The 520 is about the same price range. Not exactly common but they do turn up. |

In my opinion it's due to the lock ruining that classic look. I'm thinking of buying a 28 and having it converted to .45 colt. Fixed sights would be cool, but I'm ok with adjustable. |
