Just picked up a M&P performance 1.0 in 9mm and it didn’t include any plates.  I’m looking to mount a Holosun 507C.  Suggestions?

I used a C&H metal plate on my 10mm.

Avoid the CHPWS plate at all costs, they have been a QC nightmare and have extremely poor durability.  The design is a shitty 2-piece affair using T-nuts made of questionable quality steel, simple google search will reveal all of the problems users have had.

Get one of the DPP plates from amazon, they are extremely durable and tight fitting and also made of titanium.
Alternatively if you call S&W they will send you a pack of factory polymer plates.

Why not just get the SCS?

I looked on Amazon and saw the DPP plates, but the ones I saw replace the rear sight. Did they have others that I just missed?

I'm not a huge CHPWS fan but I've mounted up a couple of RMRs on M2.0s using their plates.  The plates are aluminum but are a good fit to the RMR, index on the factory slide cut well, and the RMR screws go straight through into the factory slide holes.  There are no t-nuts involved.

C&H here also, good fit.

This, plus some standard height irons, perfect combo IMO.
Lowest mounted option out there, no messing with plates.

Let’s try this again.

I ordered the DPP 2.0 and it doesn’t fit as the plate is to long.

I have both a core and a performance center M&P, and I’m guessing they are 1.0’s?

I pulled the sight and plate off of my core and it fits the performance center slide perfectly. All it says on the plate is type 1.  Anyone know the manufacturer of this plate that does work?  Is this factory s&W?  I do like the DPP plate if I could order the right one?

I had poor experiences with the factory polymer plates.  I’ve done gone all direct mount.

The 1.0 models have a shorter cut in the slide than the 1.0 models.  Found that out recently.

Have you called S&W to see if they have the plates you need?

1.0 plates (factory) were steel.  2.0 plates (factory) are mostly plastic.  At least one is aluminum.

The short metal one is a factory smith and wesson plate.  The DPP plates are sized to fit a 2.0, no companies out there are making 1.0 plates I don't think.

I called s&w and gave them my serial number, and they were supposed to be sending me a 1.0 plate.  If not, I’ll cut down to 2.0 plate or continue to look online.

Yep, looks like they still make a 1.0 plate. Thanks!

Called s&W again (the first time a 2.0 plate was sent), gave my SN and today, a type 1 plate 1.0 arrived.  Fits great

I don't think those fit on 1.0

Pretty sure his post didn't originally specify that it was a 1.0
