After a few range trips with my .40's and .38 supers getting pelted by hot semi auto shooter's brass while trying to recover my reloadable brass I decided to switch my shooting back to revolvers so I can stay in my booth and not pick up my brass :-)

Gads, what a delight! No more grovelling about on the dirty floor trying to sort out my brass from the piles of 9's on the deck, and an added benefit is once I touch off some of my boomers the shooters around me seem to decide that they need to leave, maybe prematurely? :-)

Never had this issue at either of the gun clubs I've belonged too over the last 30+ years or on my home range.

One of my pistol I once had a hot round of my own pop up and go down the back of my shirt.

But I say shoot whatever you enjoy the most, even if its not what the ""Cool Kids" are doing.
