So I bought a Springfield Loaded a few weeks ago.  I'm looking to put a magwell on it to make mag changes a little smoother.  Any suggestions on one that won't break the bank?  I'm very new to the 1911 platform so I'm not familiar with what the "obvious" answers would be

I prefer a 1 pc. S&A is probably the cheapest 1 pc. Wilson and Nighthawk make much nicer ones, but the cost more.

Should drop right in without any fitting on your SA.
Ed Brown makes a very nice 2 pc and so does EGW.

Another vote for the Smith & Alexander 1-pc mainspring housing/magwell.  When I bought my first 1911 I must have thought I got a Glock or something. I think I was just overwhelmed by how many part people made aftermarket for it.
Before I left the store with it I had bought a new grip safety, slide stop, weird Wilson magwell that hooked on to the grip screw bushings, a 2-piece guide rod, and some hogue grips with the wraparound.
Shot the gun out of the box and it worked fine. Started trying to put stuff on, and after failures to fit, and failures to function I ultimately ended up with the grips and the magwell on. But the magwell wasn't compatible with half of the 8rd mags I was buying and it wouldn't uninstall the way it went on. So I destroyed it getting it off.
Next go around I did the S&A magwell, and since then i've had 4 of them on 1911s and they're perfect.

Just recently bought one for my latest 1911 and like before, it went right in and has helped me quite a bit with my reloads.

Seen that you scooped it up. I thought about it but not sure how well it would fit my .22 RIA.

Yeah figured I'd give it a whirl.  Thanks for the recommendation

I just installed this Smith & Alexander (S&A as people have referred to above) on my Colt Competition 9mm. I am thrilled with the results. I went with their thin model because I replaced the factory standard thick VZ grips with thin VZ Grips.

The install was simple and painless. It cost me $85 delivered. Brownell's has them. Here is a link to their Magwell for thick grips, I went with the Flat Mainspring, Blue model:

Another vote for S&A. Here on my Champion Operator. Dropped right in, no fitting.

Same on my Colt Rail Gun.

The whole Commander with the Magwell thing is really starting to appeal to me. I think it looks pretty sharp. Oh right I have one! But the Specialist I just picked up is way too heavy to carry. I might have to put a magwell on one of my Lightweight Commanders. Maybe on my Valkyrie or Colt LW Commander.
