Zastava M83/94 I picked up last week and shot yesterday. Despite internet reports the DA trigger is not 15 pounds. Measures about 11.5 pounds on my Lyman digital gauge, which is perfectly usable for someone like me who is used to shooting revolvers in DA mode. The SA trigger measures about 2.5 pounds. Despite the full size weight, .357 Mag is sort of punishing, or maybe the temp being in the 30s yesterday morning played a part in that? Or maybe just the thinner wood grips? I have and an S&W Model 65 with larger wood grips and it's nowhere near as harsh with .357 Mag. With .38 Special it's a pussy cat. Hope it gets a little warmer in the coming weeks because I would like to shoot it some more. I did not stay out long yesterday due to the temps. It's pretty much the same size as an S&W K-Frame like my Model 65. Got it from Atlantic for $299 Attached File |

G19 Gen 5 MOS with a RMR and Inforce APL. The Glock itself was an accidental gunbroker win. Had been wanting a new G19 after stupidly trading one away and threw out a low bid that somehow won. So obviously I had to buy an FCD plate and RMR for it. The APL is being temporarily borrowed from my G17 while it’s out getting the slide milled. Still need to figure out a permanent light for it. While I got it back at the end of October, it was gone almost a month for RMR milling. Definitely feels like an entirely different pistol. Attached File |
 Acquired locally from an individual, with Holosun and TLR-1 for $700 with two mags and extra polymer grip frame. I went through it and remedied some of the things I found - extractor had no tension, Holosun was missing 6-32 mounting screws, trigger was 6 pounds, grip safety spring was way too strong and the grip safety doesn't block the trigger anyway (I'll deal with that later). The rear sight was about to lose its set screw. In all, I'd put the build quality about equivalent with the Tisas double stack I own, maybe slightly below. |
