I recently set up my Dillon 750 press for 9mm, and in the process I make a few dummy rounds to dial everything in...

Now, these dummy rounds are in spec,  checked with a dillon case gage and cycled in two 9mm handguns. No problem. All chambered Aok.

Now when I chambered one those dummies (riding the slide home) the extractor flew out of the slide and across the room. LOL.  I reinstalled the extractor and haven't been able to duplicate the problem.

As far as I can tell, I probably installed the locking pin wrong the last time I detailed cleaned it.

Damn good thing you found it that way vs the other.
