After thinking it over further I believe I’ve settled on using a Taurus Raging Judge Magnum for the base of the project. The question then becomes;

- 3” or 6” barrel?

- Stainless or blued?

I’m thinking for maximum interwebz rage once completed I’ll need to keep the cylinder loaded with alternating 410 shot shells and 454Casull. Mixing ammo ftmfw

Get one blued and one stainless.

Swap parts around.

SS cylinder and barrel on a blued frame.

Shit like that.

Alternate FMJ and Silvertips for the pics.

Be sure to have a finger on the trigger.

Splodey heads all around.

Fucking perfect!!!  The wailing and tearing of clothes will be epic!   I vote for the earlier mentioned Python as runner up.

OP, I get you. I have worn my past Rolex watches and wear my current Sky-Dweller on a $12 nylon NATO strap. Rolex fanboy heads explode when they notice it: "OMG, that's just wrong!" "The factory bracelet has no equal!" "Why on earth would you do that?!!?"   My response is usually "because fuck you".

I say find the most iconic and revered revolver you can, cut away with reckless abandon, and start offending!

Godspeed and post pics

Yes Yes.
That is the perfect specimen for surgery.
Great idea OP.
Dremel away my friend.
No better way to fix a Tarrass.

My only sticking point on the Raging Judge is a lack of mounts for a red dot sight. I’d really like to include that if at all possible...

The easiest revolver to mount a red dot on may be one of the Ruger Alaskans with integral scope mount cutouts. Bonus points for doing it to a .480.

Prolly have to mill\file\dremel that rear site area flat.
Drill and tap it for a picatinny base.
Fabricate that base too.
There are blank base options out there.

J. Edgar Hoover had one especially made for him.  His was, I believe, a .44 Spl.

Why do I suck at posting pics?

I saw an M1917 that had been "Fitzed" in a shop once.  I was torn between desire and horror.

I’d say 3” stainless, make sure to add a red dot (especially if you have to JB Weld it on). Maybe JB Weld a Mossberg breacher brake on it as well, possibly a light rail. Most operator Judge ever.
