The well has gone dry

I think I saw on the CCI site that the product was discontinued

True?

Get the red tip ones with #6 shot. Saw a video showing shot out a 3in barrel shot through a piece of plywood.

I seem to remember seeing the shotshell part itself was available as a reloading component - may have been from CCi

Another option is the method I took
Bought an old die that star crimps cases, so I can make up custom shotshells from whatever I choose and crimp them
It was a BONANZA made item. Solid bit of kit.

Hard to come by, I'm sure they make them in batches.

Last time (2012?) I found some in an off the beaten path gun store on a work trip, they had 4 boxes and I bought them all.

Found some more of the blue tip and the newer red tip ones 3-4 years ago, I must have 7-8 boxes left plus some spread around with the revolvers.

Nice to have but I don't use them often.

I use them frequently in .22lr for dispatching field mice.  Had a bunch of 9mm ones that were great for rattlesnakes.
Down to my last few rounds before the .410 pistol comes to play.

Hope they continue production.

Peruse local gun shows, flea markets and garage sales. It seems I always see those 10 round plastic boxes with one or two rounds gone offered for $2 or $3.
