Get the red tip ones with #6 shot. Saw a video showing shot out a 3in barrel shot through a piece of plywood.

I seem to remember seeing the shotshell part itself was available as a reloading component - may have been from CCi
Another option is the method I took Bought an old die that star crimps cases, so I can make up custom shotshells from whatever I choose and crimp them It was a BONANZA made item. Solid bit of kit. |

Hard to come by, I'm sure they make them in batches.
Last time (2012?) I found some in an off the beaten path gun store on a work trip, they had 4 boxes and I bought them all. Found some more of the blue tip and the newer red tip ones 3-4 years ago, I must have 7-8 boxes left plus some spread around with the revolvers. Nice to have but I don't use them often. |

I use them frequently in .22lr for dispatching field mice. Had a bunch of 9mm ones that were great for rattlesnakes.
Down to my last few rounds before the .410 pistol comes to play. Hope they continue production. |

Peruse local gun shows, flea markets and garage sales. It seems I always see those 10 round plastic boxes with one or two rounds gone offered for $2 or $3.
