I considered selling my blued Valor to offset the purchase of a custom Valor that DW is doing for me right now. That is until I put some cocobolo grips on it today. This is really a fine looking gun.

To me nothing looks better on a 1911 than blued steel and wood grips

the only thing that looks better than a blue 1911 is a worn blue 1911

If that shoots as good as it looks...
Why would you sell it!
I put some rounds through my Guardian
(with similar bob tail grips) last weekend,
Beautiful freaking pistol...

I LOVE the Valor blue. It is unlike any other blue. I have a Valor 10mm in the black duty finish and I would gladly trade the black for the blue.

Gorgeous. How's the other side look as far as markings? I hate billboards on beautiful guns

The other side has DAN WESSON FIREARMS NORWICH, NY U.S.A. on the frame above the grip and the serial number above the trigger. There's nothing on the slide.

About the only cleaner looking pistol out there is a Guncrafter No Name.

I really need to get a V Bob soon...not sure if I'll go stainless or coated...

Nice pistol! What's the specs of the gun you're having them build for you? They do an outstanding job. This one was built 100 percent in their custom shop -

I did something similar with my Valor.  Had wood grips laser engraved with my grandfathers patch for his unit in WW2

I wouldn't sell it unless you really had to. I sold my CBOB a while back and regretted it. I just bought another one (LNIB) last week (my old one shown along with my A2.):
