Hello. I just received a FOIA for a 1911A1.  Can anyone explain how to read it.

Was it a Redstone or Crane FOIA? My Redstone came with a legend. The Crane did not. Can you post a picture?

It was  from Redstone.  I just realized they sent me the wrong serial number.  It only had two lines, which I thought was odd.  I should have the correct one next week.

I received the correct FOIA info first of this past week.  I was able to get help from Sinister to decode everything.

- Weapon was turned into the Distribution Management Office, Camp Kinser Okinawa 1989.

- From 27 April 1989 - 2 March 1999 Unit Identity Codes for owning units were unknown

- Weapon was transferred to Anniston Control 3 March 1999

- 22 January 2003 weapon was sent to Concept Evaluation Support Agency, Lexington KY, for service

- 23 June 2003 weapon was assigned to Army Tactical Application Element

- 24 September 2019 Army Tactical Application Element transferred weapon to Anniston Depot Army Special Program 1122

- 18 October 2019 transferred to TAACOM and CMP Anniston
