Since C&S is out of business what ate my choices for a trigger kit?  How do I improve the reset to make it tactile?

look into these guys. I've gotten some springs from them. they have a lot of improvement kits.

No, I've read that as well. Current owner wants to retire but has no one to take over the shop.

I've been told by a gunsmith that a HP trigger will never be able to feel like a 1911 trigger due to the linkage & geometry of said linkage. Having said that, my new Springfield HP trigger is a lot better than my previous Browning HP Practical model.
