I have a ruger mark ii kmk10 (10 inch barrel) bull barrel pistol.  The front sight is broken and i need to replace it.  The problem is i cannot identify what the front sight is.  The standard ruger front sight for a bull barrel mark ii is a bit wider and longer.  Anybody know what compensator this is?  I figure thats the first step to finding a replacement.  I have no idea on the guns history or modifications since i bought it used.

ETA:  its a very old volquartsen v comp sight.  They now have 3 vents on each side instead of 2 and they have a screw to attach through the old front sight threads.  Volquartsen has been great to deal with.

That sight looks like it's proprietary to that compensator. I'm guessing that gun was threaded and the compensator screwed on. That certainly doesn't look like any sort of pin on compensator.

I believe you are correct, i dont see any way to remove it.  There are no markings on it either.

Maybe i should just ask if anyone even has a kmk10 and what sights they use on it.
