I have a Hellcat and am super happy with it, except the trigger. I’m not a trigger snob.  I generally keep all my guns stock and am used to glock triggers. The Hellcat trigger seems extra heavy though. I am actually considering an after market option. I value reliability most, but would appreciate something lighter. What’s available, and what has been your experience?

My Hellcat trigger got a lot better after lots of dry fire with snap caps, and that seems to be the general consensus.  Mine's good enough that even after buying the Apex trigger, I did the lazy thing of sending it back compared to fiddling around with the trigger parts of mine.

If you haven't shot yours a lot, maybe get a few hundred trigger pulls with caps, and then see how you like it.

I shopped around went with the Powder River Precsion kit with the pins upgrade. Been really happy with it, trigger it much better. My Hellcat is my EDC. There aren't a lot of options with the Hellcat for upgrading.

I went through my Hellcat pro and polished all the trigger parts. It did make it much smoother. But Damn, that trigger is still really heavy.
Ive been considering the APEX or Mcarbo spring upgrade.

I'm also not picky with triggers, but I was not impressed with the Hellcat's trigger out of the box (it was serviceable). However, after a 100-150 round (or so) break in period, it really smoothed out and I'm pretty happy with it.

Even after 1500'ish rounds my Hellcat trigger was heavy and my accuracy would drop off the more I shot in a single session. Installed the Apex and my accuracy stays consistant even after shooting a 100-150 round session.
Doesn't mean that much to me to mean that much to you.

I don't think my weight has really dropped any-- the pull has just cleaned up really nicely. While it isn't a heavy compared to a DAO revolver, it is definitely the heaviest pull of all my striker-fired handguns.
