Yes, I’ve got a CMore STS on an L5 in .357 Mag. It seems to hold up ok. I don’t think i shoot as accurately with it as I do with iron sights. So I don’t know if that’s just something with that particular optic or if it’s just me.

They sell a pic rail mount for it, which I use to attach directly to the rail on the barrel.



I had previously tried a Bushnell TRS-25. It didn’t make it through two magazines on the .357 before the rear lens cracked. It may have failed on the first shot and I just didn’t notice.

It was an older one and only had a 1-year warranty. I think Bushnell has since gone to a lifetime warranty. This one now lives on a .22 rifle and does fine.

The lesson is to get something with a good warranty before you try it on your DE.




Then there’s always the “Go big or go home” answer.

That’s a Hogue Powerspeed holster.  It’s configurable to fit several different firearms. The supplied shims did not fit with the shape of the Desert Eagle, so I built a shim out of wood, which is the blue painted piece.
