[ARCHIVED THREAD] - HK Com 40 Date code AF , what year ???????

I was looking at a Com 40 lem trigger and night sights , AF code , would this one have any of the HK updates to fire pin or etc ? I know this is a older platform but I had my eye on it . I had the HK guns before and never a problem .

Thanks for the info , I passed on it and I think the night sights were getting real dim , I did take home a Older ,mint Colt 1991 , with black fact Colt grips has a nice trigger pull . , this is the full size Gov size . I cleaned it and ran maybe 75 rounds today it worked great .

Updates were made in 2006 (AG), I believe, but you can't go wrong with any year if the price is right.
