I would like to see people's choices of holster gun combos.  This is my collection of current combos.  I have more guns that have no holster and more holsters that have no guns, funny how that works.  So post them up.

Oh do I need to mention I was bored AF today.  Took the day off with no plans.

Primary carry:
HK45C, TLR7 (custom mounting key), Blackpoint Tactical Dual Point holster configured for OWB and their M.A.P. mag carrier.

Attachment Attached File

I have their mini wing and leatherwing as well, but this at 3:00 is my go-to for carrying. I do quite like this gun and setup, but I'm actually offloading it (or trying to) and I'm planning to switch to a P80 CL.

Discrete carry:
S&W 642, Altamont Classic Rosewood grips, ANR Design holster.

Attachment Attached File

While this is an exceptionally comfortable and concealable setup, it really sucks to shoot. I'm probably going to get their Combat grips for a bit more purchase and see if that improves the shootability. The wood does allow garments to slide over it much easier vs getting hung up on the stock rubber, but the stock is definitely nicer when shooting it.

Better than rubber, larger surface area would lead me to believe that the pressure would be spread out over a larger area = less crappy feeling to shoot.

Those rubber grips are a PITA to keep clothing from snagging on.

Yup, which is why I went with the nice smooth altamont. The biggest problem I think is that I can't get my pinky on there, and my grip is a little weird. The longer profile of the combat or the larger bateleur grips would give me much better purchase and control while still keeping it a fairly small and smooth profile for concealment, while fulfilling my vapid wants for an aesthetic carry gun.

Man.  I love the choices, gives me ideas.  I need to add a claw to my one holster got my P01 to make it like that J frame one.  Think it would work much better.

Ryan’s holsters are awesome.  Like the revolver pics.   Let’s keep it going!

No doubt.

Although the ivory ones might be nice. There's a member who has a set on his m69 that looks nice.

G19 with TLR3, guardian concealment, gerber dmf auto.

All protected by Eugene (named after Saint Stoner). Eugene has definitely upgraded his own caliber since. We got him as a wee little 22cb, year later he's pushing on field artillery fodder.

The glock is just more scratched up, still shoots great. I've since cut out some of the kydex for days when I'm screwing around with the threaded barrel on.

@paigecm1 2 questions... is that full size 1911 a Baer? It looks like it, but it scares me if I can tell a Baer by just the ass end sticking out.
2) what do you think about the staccato C? I really want to try one, love STI stuff, and prefer 1911s over anything else. Haven't been able to see a single stack in person yet so I'm curious.

Since I'm not a freeloader:

It is a full size, Premier II.  Absolutely love the Staccato C.  Was looking for a small single stack and it just works.  Very accurate little gun.

Fits any Glock double stack 9/40 mag. It comes with an adjustable stop so you can choose the ride height that you want. If you remove it, you can put the 24 round magazine it and it sits about the same height as a G17 mag in a normal carrier.

I don't have an HF1 any longer.  I used to years ago and it was a great holster.  I believe it holds a little firmer to the belt than the working man due to where the opposing loop is.  However I prefer the appearance of the RGrizzle.  That is a timeless holster.

My EDC concealed P07.

My outside/work carry pistol a couple summers back.  I sweat like a pig.  Came in, pulled the pistol out of the holster and the magazine out of the pistol so I could dry them off, wipe them off and let the holster dry out for the next outside work session.

The P01 Omega (you can see the moisture/sweat on the pistol and magazine.)

The holster, soaked pretty badly.

Ryan Grizzle does great work.

And then there's the .357 Smith & Wesson 340 PD, where the flash bang grenade combines with a J Frame revolver.  Holster is Pocket Concealment Systems.
