What's the intrigue about this now? I'm lost here.

There use to be similar plates (GAP plates) made for Glocks from a company called Concealable Control. They allow you to keep your gun small and concealable, yet allow a stable grip that won't slip in your hand. It also allows you to hook into the grip during the draw. Well Concealable Control went under and no other company made a similar product so those that wanted them were out of luck.
Not too long ago Gee Plate was put together to pick up where Concealable Control left off. They not only make Glock plates, but plates for quite a few other firearms as well. Some people don't understand the advantage, but most people that have tried such a plate like them quite a bit. I have no connection to Concealable Control or Gee Plate, but I like what these plates do for my CC guns.
