I was looking at a G43x MOS to add to the carry rotation.  I typically carry a G19.5/HE508T/TLR7A.  I don't have any issues with the G19 length, I just want something slimmer sometimes.  Should I be looking at the G48?  Does one shoot better, smoother, or flatter than the other?  Other than a little velocity are there any benefits to the G48?  I already have a Tenicor Sagax Lux 2 and a TLR7 sub on order that will work with either pistol.

If you're okay with the G19 length, the G48 is essentially identical.

I would assume the longer barrel and slide would have less recoil, but probably not enough to really matter.

If you're going to be carrying a TLR7 sub attached, you may as well get the advantages of the longer barrel and slide on the G48.

Have both and I find the 48 more fun to shoot.  the 43x is very snappy.

People who carry a 43x appendix often do so in a 48 holster and some 43x holsters are built in a way to add extra length anyway.  The short barrel causes the gun to tip the grip out for a lot of people making it less concealable than the 48.

The 48 is the way to go.
