What holster are you using?

|
Kramer Belt Scabbard in horsehide. Minimal material keeps it from being bulky. Horsehide makes it thin yet almost as stiff as kydex. I find it fast and concealable.

Raven Concealment or a savoy. Not sure why Raven stopped making the Phantom.

I've got a Raven Phantom and it does work very well. I've also got a JMCK OWB 2 for another gun and it's great, too. In this case, though, I'm looking for leather.

They quit making them once I settled on using them for all my owb rigs... figures. My 1911 rides in one right now. As a replacement, I've been looking at Vedder. Their Lightdraw OWB looks pretty similar in design, cant and they use the pancake wings which is why I went with Raven

Horseshoe Leather pancake. Also like the Mitch Rosen pancake. Colt Lwt. Commander.
The high ride styles don't work well for me . |
|
Josh Bulman vertical scabbard. I'd like to get one for my commanders, but the dude has vanished from the face of the planet.

A 1791 model bh1..... does not seem to be bad leather for the price... has held up so far

Just make sure you never fall on that hip.
It will make a hell of a 'hip pointer' if you do. At least it should not be as bad as carrying directly over your spine at 6 o'clock. |

Raven concealment.
Don't see myself buying a different holster after this one. |

A Ross pancake style for the non-railed 1911 and a Blade Tech Eclipse for the tailed one at the moment. They work ok but there is room for improvement.

A cheap Fobus paddle that works great. Easy on , easy off and holds it tight to my body
