I gave my brother-in-law some 9mm for his pistol earlier this year during the "shortage".

He gave my wife "replacement" ammo he bought at a gun show a few days ago.

By the time it got to me it was in a ziplock bag.

He described it to my wife as "Bulk Red Box Fiocchi"

I can't get any SKU numbers or further description from him.

Externally it is new GFI cases and a hollowpoint with a very small hole, rounded ogive (not like an XTP) and some skives.

Any ideas?  I'd like to pick up some of the bullets for reloading because they look like they'd feed reliably in a 9mm AR.  

I'm also a little leery of "unknown" rounds....

That's the general shape of the ogive but the "hollow" is smaller in diameter and the skives aren't quite that "open". There is no filler plug like an XTP.

Case stamp is identical.

Mine have no visible sealant.

Is the item number on the box 9APHP?  Buffman tested them:  

It’s their overseas produced JHP ammo.  Pretty decent stuff though it doesn’t expand much.    Hotter than us made ammo
