Pretty decent results out of such a short barrel.

Cool, OP. I just ordered a few boxes from Finfeatherfur.com. I hope they are legit, haha!

Yea, that’s a bit.

What is this load supposed to do that the 110 gr +P+ “Treasury load” doesn’t do?

It kinda reminds me of the recent reintroduction of .22 Long with a fancier name
“personal defense punch” with a 29 grain bullet vs LR with 40 grain….

How’s the performance of the “treasury load”?

With marginal calibers, out of short barrels, the goal is expansion even after heavy clothing and sufficient penetration even in bare gel.

When two loads perform similar then the one that does it with the least recoil and muzzle flash is preferred.

A +P+ load is only safe to use in a .357 Magnum anyways

Where are you buying the Treasury load?

I just got my shipment in yesterday. I'll try them out in my 3" Ruger SP101.

I don’t remember.  I bought 500 Winchester Ranger T and only rarely use them.  I prefer 158 LSWCHP.

Per S&W, their revolvers will handle +P+ with expected additional wear.

Not sure where the “.357 only” idea came from.  The load was made….for .38 Spl carrying treasury agents back in the light & fast vs slow & heavy days in the 1970s—it’s almost as old as 9mm vs .45.
