I have an opportunity to buy the FNX 45 Tac. for 800.00. it is like new in the carrying bag with 3 mags and the scope mount in desert tan. Is it worth it. I do not have any FN pistols in my safe so I don't know if it a pistol worth having.

I'd say if you can try one out before you buy. I like mine its reliable and has a lot of options going for it. The trigger isn't exactly that great (its not terrible either) but that's about the biggest hit i can give it. Also on mine i ended up modifying my mag release since it would rub on mags and they wouldn't drop free all the time. That was fixed very easily with a dremel and about 15 minutes of time haven't had an issue since with my mags dropping free.

I wouldn't buy a used gun to save $50 versus a brand new one but that's just me.
