Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - FN 509 Tactical - Can't remove the MRD plate and O ring, any ideas?

Just got a 509 Tactical and want to put my red dot on it.

Following the instructions, I took off the slide cap.  next step is to take off the MRD plate and o-ring.  That MRD plate is stuck in there and I cannot get it out.  

Anyone have this issue and know how to work it?

Got it.  A light tap with a nylon hammer and problem solved.
