It seems to me this thread was mislabeled. After viewing a lot of the pics posted, it appears it should have been titled, Let see your CCW arsenals!  A gun "rig" (CCW or otherwise) is the belt, holster, etc you carry your weapon(s) in. Here's my well-worn El Paso Saddlery gun rig consisting of a tapered money belt, "Double Agent" belt holster, and 2F friction mag pouch all with fishscale stamping.

NYPD only allows us to carry either our service pistol, or our authorized off-duty pistols. All off them are 9mm's. My service is a Glock 19, (good gun....if you're a woman...J/k) My Off-duty was a Glock 26, but I recently sold it for the new S&W 3953T. Perps now-a-days are carrying .40's or better. My first gun collar was a savage carrying a fully loaded Tarus Millenium Pro .45 I wish I could carry my 1911. I've heard a lot of other departments allow you to carry whatever you want. |
