it ALL depends where you are at. in a free state like FL, as long as you can fog a mirror and don't have a good reason not to, you can get a permit. in CA it can be really easy in some places, and impossible in others, it just depends on the sherrif. where i live in GA it's about as easy as it can be. $40 and a background check and you're out the door |

Primary crap, though usually I carry a Victorinox Super Tinker/Mechanic/Soldier, and after today a GLOCK slide holster. Weapon is GLOCK 19 w/ LWD 5lb tactical connector, Trijis, ext. mag release. Secondary carry. Dated picture as I ditched Qwest and that phone for the much better Tmobile service. SIG Pro 9mm in a CompTac Gurkha.

This is my current maximum load-out, which gets used pretty much daily. -Beat-up wallet -Orbits gum -Regular flavor chapstick -Keys -Gerber AR 3 -LG VX8300 cellphone -Surefire G2 -Sabre Red OC spray -Glock 19 -G&G IWB holster -Spare 15 rd mag -31x 147gr SPEER Gold Dot HP After christmas I'll have a S&W 642 with a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster and 5 rounds of Gold Dot's snubby load, with another 5 on a speed strip. It'll be used as a light carry piece or a BUG |

the curved gunbelt and mag pouch are by Ted Blocker here localy. I will be replacing the holster with a matching one this summer. I have been carrying about 10 years. use to use nylon or a galco shoulder rig. found this paddle holster from uncle mikes to be quite comfy.

glad to see so many are carrying lights. i think lights are how you can tell serious CCW's from the ones that get it just to flash around... i think its like 80-85% of police encounters involving a firearm are at night or in low light conditions. the true test is this- how many of you regularly train shooting with your light in your weak hand? |

Didn't have a pic of all the other accessories: Kimber CDP II in Galco belt hoster in cooler Texas weather  Kahr PM40 in wallet hostler when it is 105 degrees in the shade. Notice the different knife? The Gerber was stolen while I was at the gun range of all places. Had to buy the Spyderco replacement that day - like it better!

Well im only 17 so heres what I carry with me everyday, the way I see it is its better than nothing intill I can legally carry a firearm. -Pen, Pencil, Chapstick(i NEVER leave w/out my stick  )-Cell Phone -Blackhawk Hellstorm Gloves -Blackhawk ID holder(I use it as a daily wallet because its not as thick and bulky as a normal wallet yet I can carry what i need in it- FOID card, IRSA card, License, money, ect) - Swiss Army pocket knife - CRKT Crawford Falcon knife(great knife for price but I plan on upgrading to a Blackhawk Crucible. The way I see it since I cant carry a gun mise well have a knife you really like thats good) -Car keys, which i forgot to put in the pic How does it look, anything I should add or take off? I want to add a Night-Ops Falcata 9v Xenon flashlight soon, but not sure what else. If im at school I usually have everything minus the bigger knife

Thanks its a nice holster. Did you modfy it? It shows that holster as the Fletch thumbreak but yours has no TB ? |

ColtM4, The Fletch does have the thumb break. The picture does't show it well though. If you look at the rear sight of the holstered gun, you will see a button on the leather. That is the "break". The leather strap wraps around the cocked hammer and snaps into place on the inside of teh holster. The snap is secure and have had no problems with it coming loose. The "break" operation is fast and natural, almost as if it were not "in the way". Reholstering takes some effort because the leather hammer strap tends to fold back over the holster opening after the gun is drawn. With a little practice, it is possible to reholster and snap the break back into place with one hand. |

Mariner, its an old m38. Unfortunately, I am borrowing it from a friend while my USP is elsewhere: the Smith is a very nice gun. Only problem is that I have to order decent ammo off of the internet: the Gold Dot short barrel is not to be had around these parts. Actually, with a multi pocket jacket all that stuff is not at all hard to carry as long as you keep the same stuff in the same pockets. In the summer, one can fit it all in cargo pockets. Danpass, I have equipment bearers follow me around campus with the laptop, coffee, redheads, and my AR15. It is amazing what scholarships are available these days. |
Ok so I don't really carry the Halo...(most of the time  ) Here's my EDC stuff sans wallet/cell phoneI rotate in a 1911 and a .357 snubby as well, with some Spyderco's, an E2D, and/or a Night Ops Gladius for variety

I guess ill get in on this I wont Bore you guys with my holster untill i get my new one. I carry everything in the pic daily. Although i will be without my 1911 for a few weeks when it gets sent off to Novaks for some new sights. -RIA 1911 GI Model -Gerber Infinity Ultra Task light -and im not what the Knife is, It was given to me by my uncle about 10 years ago. Ive carryed it daily since. |
