Was thinking about buying a Parker Mountain Machine Tardigrade Sig P320 but to do it I need to sell something of equal value. I have a Staccato P and a Staccato XC (incoming) and was considering selling the P to cover the cost. I’m struggling with the cost/value of the PMM Tardigrade thinking it something I could just build. So what’s everyone’s opinion, sell the P, buy the PMM or build my own 320?

I think you could build something very similar to the tardigrade for less.  That would be the route I would go if I was in the market for such a pistol.

I don't see what makes the PMM 320 worth $2500. In comparison, the P320 SPECTRE COMP is only around $1200 and looks better to me. Personally, I wouldn't sell a Staccato to finance one of those. You would probably take a good hit on the Staccato and wouldn't have near as nice a gun with the Sig, as you do now.

Thanks. That’s what I wanted to hear. I’m not sure how or why a striker fired gun can cost 2500.00.

It’s not ported or compensated, but I’ve got around $1500 in my Glock 34.5. I’ve done most of what I could to squeeze as much comfort and accuracy out of it and it’s still not even close to my custom SA Prodigy (~$2300). Keep the Staccato.

I like and own several P320s.  I also own a Staccato P.  I can't envision any way a P320 is going to be worth $2,500 let alone shoot as good as a Staccato.

I think you could get a pretty nice P320 for a lot less and keep your Staccato.

I love me plastic pistols, I carry them every day and have for a long time now. I don't  even mind spending money on them. But the ones that are starting to edge north of around $1200 I don't get. No way in hell would I sell my Staccato to buy one either.

because people will pay it.

I don't think any striker fired gun I've held or seen in real life is worth north of 2k, and even that's a stretch with all the bells and whistles bought at full retail.

If you like it, go for it, but hammer fired usually wins in the trigger and often accuracy department. By enough a margin to justify the cost? That's up to you.

My buddy traded his Staccato for a Laugo Alien.

The Alien? That POS? I'll trade him back for a Staccato.

Aren't they out of production now though? If so, mags abd stuff might get scarce. They are cool though.

I enjoy shooting my Boresight Glocks more than I did my Staccatos, so I sold my Staccatos... everyone is different.

Keep the Staccato.

I like some of my customized Glock style and stryker fired pistols. But they will never shoot as nice as a 2011.

I have a few of them. But IMO I think striker fire handguns suck. I hate the trigger.

Wouldn’t bother with the PMM 320. It’s basically the same deal as a WC 320…not worth the price for what you’re getting. I wanted a WC 320 until I realized what you’re getting and then you have to pay hundreds more for an optics cut. You can do way better for a lot less. Keep the Staccatos or trade one for something actually worth the price!

I have a P320 and I say keep the Staccato and get a cheaper P320.

Or save a little bit more and get an Atlas or a Nighthawk… just a suggestion .

I started off wanting an XC but bought a Staccato P because it was available. Then I sold a few firearms I didn’t use and ordered a custom build Atlas.
If I had it to do over I would have waited, saved and ordered the one I “really “ wanted .in the first place.
