I have a lovely Smith & Wesson 629 that I like to pack with me when I am bumping around the woods.
I made a video review of it.

LOL, I had to look after seeing the Pauly Shore reference and yup lol.

Nice 629, they are fun guns to shoot! Those custom features sound great.

This is mine, she's a Performance Center 629 V-Comp.  Being a PC gun she came with an absolutely beautiful trigger job from the factory as well as trigger stop and is extremely accurate.  She's sporting a Trijicon RMR with a Trijicon mount.  Similar in a lot of ways to yours.

I'm not much of a wheel gun guy but I found your video entertaining and like that Recon bag. I watched your video about the bag, I wasn't sure what was hanging from the ceiling till I read the comments to confirm.

Hill People Gear, Recon Kit Bag.

Thanks! I thought it was pretty amusing having my drawers hanging to dry in that video... That Recon Kit bag is my favorite way to carry in the woods. It does not get covered with layers like a belt holster or, shoulder rig can, and is still discreet.

Haven't been able to watch the video yet, but I've always liked the idea of carrying in a chest rig for hiking and I don't also considered it for runs as well. I'd rather be able to carry something bigger than my wife's LCP on gravel roads but my normal G22/27 IWB style wouldn't be very comfortable on a run.

Also, I never expected to walk into a woods gun discussion to be met with a full dose of Pauly Shore-speak

Yes. Where I live, there are a lot of folks who do not come from a gun culture hiking in the woods. Making them uncomfortable does nothing to help our pro gun cause.
