LOL...besides the obvious, does anyone know what the production model number is on this Pony.  These were made around 2015....I kinda regret not getting one:

It seems to be a cross between a Gov't 1911A1 and a Commercial.

Thats a new roll mark 1991 from the Colt Custom Shop.  You often see it referred to as a model O1991Z, but I saw a Colt rep once say in a forum that designation was used for a lot of unique special editions made for distributors.

Heres one that sold on Guns America:  https://www.gunsamerica.com/925586277/Colt-Colt-Custom-M1991A1-45ACP-Pistol-5-NEW-01991Z.htm

Many people get mixed up on what 'Government Model' means. It was Colt's term for a commercially-sold pistol that was very similar to the military contract M1911/M1911A1. So, that means it can't be a 'Government model' and a M1911/M1911A1 at the same time. If you will only take the time to look at your own picture you will see 'Government Model' clearly on the slide.

If I were in the market for a “standard” hamburger plain Pony these days, I wouldn’t hesitate on the new “Classic” offering, model no. O1911C

I’d like to add the the 1991 models were 80series guns and no longer produced.

O1970a1cs Kinda took the 1991’s place but a new production 70series with “70series” roll mark, discontinued last year.

O1911c “Classic” model replaced the o1970a1cs and are current production, they are a 70series gun with a Nation Match barrel, different laser roll mark than above.

The o1911c can be found between $650-$750 there’s one on GB for $699 nib.
