For those of us stuck in the cold, there is one upside: we can conceal anything! Here's my carry rig whenever I'm wearing more than a tee-shirt. This has been my faithful companion since before joining up on arfcom. The finish has held up nicely, though I do oil it often, as well as the leather. Mag gets stuck in a pocket.

Pics are meh but i could probably still fap to them if i ever had to go to prison. Anybody carry a 1911 in kydex? I enjoy kydex but just don't think it pairs well with this pistol.

Nice but that spare mag needs to be belt carried. A friend learned the hard way after he was shot through the hand and couldn’t get to his spare in the pocket.

I do like leather but kydex helps conceal better.

I carry this year round, including with just a thought shirt to cover it without issue

Was that the lawyer that was corralled into his office, along with two of his mates, by a mugger who ate some 45? I guess it's quite common, in a shootout, to fixate on the guns and people are frequently hit in the hand. Scary stuff. I sometimes use a mag carrier but mostly end up with the spare in a back pocket. You're probably right though. It's easier to grab from a pouch. I'll wear it tomorrow.

I've been waiting for a deal on a versa max for the g19. I don't think I'll find one. I see them in stock on amazon for $160. Nice setup.

Yeah Id like to have a VM2 for the G19 as well. Had my eye on this locally recently. Just not in the budget, They been asking $875 for about a month. Might have to do a layaway.

That's almost "fo right now" price. If you had cash on hand I'd bet you could get out the door for $800 with a box of food. Don't know yet what my second 1911 will be. I do know I'll keep mine stock cause it's a shooter. Only changes I've made are wolf springs and a Wilson extractor. Got mine for such a good price, i don't want to throw money at it cause it feels like i stole it for the $300 i paid fifteen years ago.

I usually carry a 5" in Sparks leather but I sometimes use JM Kydex. It's whatever.

My Versa Max II is my edc, personally I think it looks better now after the dog chewed on it for awhile.
