Hopefully Trijicon eventually just releases a version of RMRcc that mounts directly to the RMSc footprint. There's enough pistols on the market now that there is definitely a market for that. The adapter plate solution they have now works but is suboptimal. Originally Posted By fullmedaljacket8: Originally Posted By txgunguy: I'm more disappointed in a button mag release. Yeah probably would’ve picked one up if it had a paddle. The internal chassis is the serialized part like a p365, so in theory someone could produce an aftermarket frame with a paddle release. It'd be funny if someone makes a SFP9CC clone frame for it. |

Yep Pair a shitty design with a footprint with only one manufacturer supporting it (for now). Brilliant move |

Shield RMSx, it's like an SRO for the small guns. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1026107413 ETA: British, not Chinese. |

While the length of pull is very nearly identical to the VP9SK, the CC9 is much thinner and getting to a paddle release would be pretty awkward. I just use the right-side button with my trigger finger, it's almost as fast as a paddle and kinda keeps the paddle muscle memory. |

Attached File Paddle release is absolutely a better option for a concealed carry pistol as it eliminates the chance of accidental magazine release from bumping into something or someone or the like. It's too bad that Walther have turned into complete dummies and HK is hot on their heels. |

When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

Using a pistol that's larger and wider than a CC9 as an example doesn't support your assertion. Go find a CC9 to actually handle, come back when you know what you're talking about, and fix yourself. |

I'm pretty confident that a PPS M1 is slimmer than a CC9 or any double or 1 1/2 stack magazine pistol. ETA: PPS grip is .88 wide, a VP9 magazine alone is .89. An S15 G43 magazine is .81 wide. It's unfortunate that there is not a CC9 with a paddle magazine release for me to judge it's supposed awkwardness. I would be interested in testing that assertion, but alas. Although I'd wager it's probably not far off the thickness of this one, and it's not awkward either: Attached File ( A P7M8 grip is 1.15 wide.) |

Go find a CC9 to actually handle, come back when you know what you're talking about, and fix yourself. The longer paddles on my old PPS M1 that I sold (for capacity reasons only - best CCW ever aside from that) were far easier to access and use than any of my H&K’s paddle designs, despite having a slide and frame that are essentially the same width as this new CC9. I’m still torn on this new pistol. I want one because it’s a H&K and I already know it’s going to be utterly reliable, BUT it does look like dog shit and they left the grip too long. It should have had a 2 finger grip like the PPS or Glock 26 for maximum concealment. Button mag release is also a fail, but I deal with it on my g26, so I suppose I could just accept it on this as well. Also, not sure if it has been discussed, but what are the chances we can get our hands on the euro sfp9cc’s frame assembly later on since it’s just a spare part now and no longer a serialized component? Are the cc9 mags compatible with the paddle frame or no? |

Maybe not for everyone, but I'm not the only person who's physically handled and shot one making the same observation. I suppose it would be less awkward if the paddle extended half the length of the trigger guard, but that would probably cause more problems than it solved. The ambi button location isn't bad. It shoots well, mine was very reliable through several hundred rounds. It's a good gun. I'm glad I bought it. |

Persons who have never seen the CC9, much less handled or fired one, telling me I'm wrong is just keyboard kommando stupidity. |

| I handled one at the Scheels in Missoula Montana. I can't bring it up on their website, but they definitely had some for anyone wanting one. Trigger felt fine and I liked the overall package. However the lack of a trigger guard mag release is one fuck you too far for me. I know you hate me HK...I hate you too, fuck bags. |

| Really hoping to see one in the wild. I’d love to find out if this is pocket carry-able the way my p365 was. The p365 got crazy rust on the sights, mags, and a bit on the slide like nothing I’ve seen so it got shelved. I’d love one of these if they did it “right” but time will tell. I’m too unexcited to be a beta tester |

What it boils down to is that they fear an effective resistance to their power: So, Left in power=Guns bad, mmmmkay...?, Right in power=Guns good!-thskirk

I put around 300 rounds through mine last week. Did three mags of federal HST and the rest was American Eagle 124gr FMJ. Zero issues with it and very comfortable to shoot. I feel the build quality is much higher than my P365 and P365XL. |

I’m too unexcited to be a beta tester I knew you were a Sig owner when you mentioned being concerned about beta testing . I wouldn’t be worried about that with this gun. I think this CC9 is going to be the gun that brings me home to HK. It’s been a while. |
