I think the CC9 would have be more unique if it did have the paddles, but I understand the button release. The CC9 is squarely designed to compete in the American market, and we love buttons. The VP9 F and K are not only for the US, but for Eruo release as well and they like paddles. I suspect we may see a button version of the new VP9A1s at some point. I used to have an aversion to having both button an paddle release pistols in my rotation believing there may be an issue during high stress reloading from an LE standpoint. Having trained with platforms using both releases even during the same session, I find this is not an issue whatsoever. With that, I would like to try one the CC9, it looks like a solid option, and that along with the fact I REALLY like the VP9A1K, might be enough to move me over to the H&K fold. TXPO |

Not getting a CC9 in the last drop could have its benefits, street price should drop in the future once supply catches up to demand, and the gun will be in more hands to have a better consensus on whether its a good gun or not. I was barely able to snag one a few weeks ago by checking gun deals almost every hour. When I first got my hands on it I was very disappointed by the mushy trigger, but after dry firing it roughly 100 times, the trigger became amazing. IDK if it's just mine, but it's weird how the trigger pull changed so much with just 100 dryfires. I'm not complaining though. Trigger after dry firing/breaking in feels a bit better than the Shield plus trigger and way better than the Sig P365 and Glock 43x/48 trigger. |

If i do end up picking one of these up it's strictly to replace my current 43 as my off duty carry. If I decide to switch to the VP platform then the CC9 is a logical progression for off duty. TXPO |

The CEO of HK USA says they are working with some aftermarket manufacturers on accessories for the CC9. He was vague in his answer but sounds like grip modules at least. It sounds like aftermarket options are more likely than other factory variants. He also says that it took three years of testing to get it to market because it wasn’t up to HK’s standard of reliability back then. Interesting that he notes that most micro 9s see an average of 50 rounds of use, implying that other manufacturers don’t need to build pistols as reliable as HK demands. Hate to say it, but I can believe it. Oh… and an SP7 and C36 (civilian G36) are in the works! But not in 2025, gonna be a while.  H&K MP7 & G36 Coming to the USA? I picked mine up from Scheels, after seeing the post above. Some Cabela's and Bass Pro's, have them in stock, and there are still some available at a few Scheels locations. My go to LGS, has had a few come in, but the waiting list is long, and I am not patient enough to wait. The trigger does smooth out, mine took around 300 rounds to break in. The slide release was tight, and hard to use, that also became smoother with use. The magazine release button is not an issue, I still prefer a paddle. I mounted a MPO DS optic onto mine, the width of which is perfect, but the smaller window is a challenge for snap acquisition. I ordered a Tenicor Velo5 holster, which is perfect, I wish they would make one for a wider variety of HK's. I cleaned prior to use, lubed with MP Pro 7, as I have all of my HK's. This gun has wear on the bottom of the inside of the slide, in places that typically do not wear on other HK's. There are no burs, and surfaces are free of machine marks, I think it is more of the quality of the finish issue. I had one stove pipe, when I was using a stand to zero the optic, limp wristed it. For a $600 gun, I have zero complaints. With the decrease in the overall size and weight, I like it better than my P30SK. I have been carrying it for a week, and do not plan to stop. |

I shot the CC9 for the first time at the HKPRO VIP event at WOFT. We had holosun SCS optics and G code holsters. When I first saw the gun on the internet I hated everything about it. Looks, not 100% German, basically it wasnt the SFP9CC which I wanted. I didnt look to buy one and decided to wait until the HKPRO event to shoot it and then I planned on trashing it. I was totally wrong. The gun is amazing to shoot. The trigger is just as good if not even better than the 1st gen VP9 (The VP9A1 triggers are ALOT better than the 1st gen). The recoil management of the CC9 is really the best part. The 2 spring system that HK-USA studied and iterated really works. I talked to James Williamson about it and he told us during the class how much time and research went into the recoil system. They used alot of science and force/kinetic computer modeling to get it right. I honestly did not think HK-USA was capable of producing a gun like this. I will still say that I'm not a huge fan of the button mag release, but it's serviceable and if you're used to button mag release, you'll love it. While mechanically the gun is really lights out, when you put it next to the VP9A1 K and F, they really look nothing alike. Honestly, I hate that I love the CC9 so much. Also, I never used a G Code holster....they are pretty good holsters. |

The stove pipe was my fault. The front of the frame was resting on a padded, hand gun rest, so as to zero the optic. I was not tightly gripping the weapon. This also, is only the third weapon with an optic, in under a year. I was attempting to remove human interaction from the equation, to ensure zero. I am not proficient with handgun optics, I am 55, don't wear glasses (should), and the red dot's give me an excuse to practice more. I have a few HK's, and I have never had an issue with any of them, no matter how much I abuse them, they run. |

I bought a CC9 today and took it to the range. This little pistol is awesome, the best of the slim frame guns IMO. I got a sticky holster at the store I purchased it at for now and also ordered a Tenicor Certum 3. For those looking for leather, Desantis has a couple options so far. I almost went that route but love the Tenicor holsters I have and saw they’re making them. |
