Trying to help a friend get a value on his Hi Power. I admittedly know NOTHING about them. It’s labeled Vigilante on the box and is made in Belgium while assembled in Portugal. Any ideas on what this is? Thanks for any ideas!

Compare it to the actual sell price of standard fixed sight MK III's on Gunbroker.

For a while Browning thought it would be neat to give cool names to the same damn pistol that FN had been making for fifty plus years. The Hi Power with tangent sights was the "Capitan". A two tone was the "Practical". Your "Vigilante" is just a standard MkIII with fixed sights, with adjustable sights it was called the "Sport". |

Yeah, I agree with them. Standard MkIII. Mine is exactly like yours. Exact box and everything. Mine is not named a "Vigilante" though. LOL. I didn't even know they did that.
Mine was made in 2004. Oh, mine didn't come with that big lock. But the box is still the same. Same test pack of shells too. Although maybe I just forgot about the lock..... I usually toss them in a box and forget about them. |
