I quite enjoy all things 5.7, but generally speaking $6/rd ammo spend is reserved for obscure AP ammo for testing. These IMO are more of a novelty since it's a lead core round filled with whatever compound is needed to make the flash. :D Probably not wise for use in dry areas..

I've gotten almost that much sparking from shooting at junk cars with plain old M193.

Pardon my lack of knowledge concerning Incendiary rounds, but does velocity "help" the spark ?
It kinda looked like the faster the load went the bigger the spark ? And I could see the advantage of sparking ammo also. Thanks Buffman |

Thanks Buffman Higher velocity won't help them "burn harder", but as with normal projectiles, higher impact velocity = more/faster bullet fragments spattering off the target surface; in this case those fragments are on fire. |
