American Eagle

Blazer Brass

Fiocchi

Speer Lawman (this is the most expensive, is it worth it?).

Thanks

No issue with any of those. Whatever is the cheapest bulk. Target sports USA with prime. Worth it if you plan to shoot a few cases at a time

Lawman is the most consistent and clean of that bunch.

Depends on the meaning of “best”.  I have a variety of 9mm pistols, Glocks. All the brands mentioned function perfectly and are fairly accurate. Some brands are more accurate in certain pistols than others.

For example, I bought a case of S&B 115 gr. FMJ when PSA had it for $160 and tried it in three Glocks and a Beretta. No malfunctions and fairly accurate in two Glocks and the Beretta. But in a Glock 17, it was exceptionally accurate. I ordered another case.

Buy a box or two of a couple brands in 115 and 124 grains and see how it works in your guns. Then buy a case of what works.

If you are not reloading the brass, then Brown bear. Its accurate..reliable...

If you are going to reload the brass, I tend to stock up on either speer lawman or PMC

I second the buy several brands/bullet weights and let your pistol tell you what is reliable and accurate.

My CZ's "love" Federal 115 grain FMJ brass cased ammo.

The new M&P 2.0 5" FDE will eat it fine but groups aren't worth talking about.  But, the M&P really likes the Winchester 124 grain FMJ Nato ammo.  Best groups, so far, out of the 7 or 8 brands/bullet weights I've tried in it.  Just bought 1/2 case of it the other day.

I buy a lot of the blazer brass in .38 and 9mm. It’s relativley clean and it goes bang every time. I’ve never had a dud or a jam. Prices are usually very good, I stocked up when the parent company was offering the rebates but even without that they are a good price.

I walk right by anything Remington, their .22 ammo is junk and the 9mm seems anemic in my 9mm ARs

Winchester white box is good for me too, but the blazer just seems cleaner. My stockpile ammo in Winchester 9mm NATO. But I use the blazer at my outdoor range.

The only one that I've had trouble with so far is WWB.  This was in my P320.  Several times, got a stove pipe malfunction.  Same one did fine with Magtech 9mm during the same firing session.

Otherwise, using Speer Lawman or Blazer Brass.  Have also done S&B with success.

Anything off your list.

Speer is one that tends to be a little hotter.  I keep that around to “break in” a new pistol or to be a closer analog for my self defense ammo.

I agree that any of what you listed is fine.  With the cost of 9mm FMJ ammo so reasonable these days, and also the high availability of "name brand" ammo, you have really a great opportunity to pick what works best for you and your 9mm firearms.  Cost and availability isn't such a big issue like it was, say 5 years ago.  My SD/HD/EDC choice is 147gr Federal HST, so I practice with FMJ's that have a similar feel and POI.  Typically that is with American Eagle AE9FP which is high quality and I have stacked pretty deep (I'm not an ammo whore), but I have found that there a number of different brands and loadings that provide a similar feel and POI so I have some of that too.  I know that many here disagree with me, but I would recommend that you practice with ammo that provides a close match to your defensive ammo of choice.

I’m a big fan of Winchester 124gr NATO. A little hotter than avg but still under +p. 100% reliable IME. Feels very similar to self defense 124gr loads.

Affordable at $169 to $179/1000
