I also love these pistols... I've increased my Berettas to 12 M92 or variants and 5 .22 or .25's . I recognize you from beretta forum, and even though you registered in April, a hearty welcome to arfcom. Also, I saw where you found your compact, but if you decide you want that type "M" let me know, I've got an extra I'd swap or sell to a fellow beretta fan. M1MAN70, Those are some sweeeet looking mohaskas you got there! I love berettas and can't get enough of them. I currently have 4 of them: Beretta 8040F w/USMC pistol grips Beretta 96dD (Police special) Beretta 96G DA/SA conversion w/USMC pistol grips(96D) Beretta M9 Commemorative (still in cherrywood case - scared to put a fingerprint on it) Also have about 13 11rnd mags (5 italian - 8 US ProMag) and 3 20rnd US ProMags. I'll get some pics and post them when I can. P.S., I feel for the fool that pisses you off!!! You're set to RocknRoll!!!  |

the 20 round mag is factory beretta and yes it works verry well....its just really hard to load as for the light rail....there aren't any markings on it so I wouldn't tell you. |

What mounting bracket is that? I see you have the light/laser combo attached to it, how stable is that setup on the pistol? |
I don't know what kind of mount it is someone gave it to me and I never found out but it works fine...there is a set screw on it so it stays stable. for me the idea of a laser is just for quick target acquisition not persission shooting. |

The rib was removed (2 screws) from the barrel & the barrel was threaded normally. Front rib screw is just filler. There is a post under the rib that keeps it from shifting. Found out that the front screw pulls the rib down just a bit when attached to the barrel. Without it the gun shoots way low. It's back in the shop now haveing a second screw installed over the chamber. Sight may still need to be filed down a bit but neither remedy is a big deal. Most cans are larger than the barrel. The underside of the the rib was contoured to fit as closely as possible without touching the outbackII. The area under the front sight and at the rear of the can were shaved a bit. Beautiful Berettas! The 92 is the sexiest pistol ever created, IMO. I bought a 92 before any other pistol. I didn't even bother trying it or anything else (though I had shot a G17), but I just wanted one and have wanted one ever since I can remember so I already knew nothing else would suffice. I can honestly say that while I've always known the USP was significantly bulkier than the 92, I've never seen them side by side like that to show just how much. The M9A1 is making my anti 9mm full size philosophy fade very quickly. Your pictures aren't helping either.

I'm going to make this my sigline I think if I ever plop the money down to join. If you take a flexible tape, wrap it around the grip of a 1911 and a M9, there almost identical. Yes, it's a little bit wider. But not enough to whine about. |
