Slide mounted safety is my preference. That is why I tend toward Beretta 92/Storm, Ruger P, PPK, and S&Ws. Have or will own one or more of each. Not necessarily in that order.

Not to those of us that love it and think the 1911 sucks.  I know they can be a reliable and good shooting gun, but I never found a 1911 that felt good to me and very much prefer a slide mounted safety. I'll keep my Beretta's thanks.  But to each his own. |

My latest creation... Milled off the front sight, and as soon as my mount arrives the rear will be wearing a Docter Optic red dot.

I'm not closed-minded  . The Beretta is a fine service pistol and it was sooooo much fun to shoot. Why limit yourself to just one .
