Technically not Beretta. And also not printed from an engineering filament, so it's a non-functional model anyway. But still it was an interesting print and I learned something from it. I am going to print it in a proper carbon fiber reinforced filament soon.

Took my wife out to get her first pistol. She wanted the 80X in aqua. They had a like new black/silver one in the used case. Decided to pick that up for me. It was time for something new, never owned a 380. The pistols are nice, the cases are crap. Case liners are falling apart.

Attached File Hey everyone, here is my first Beretta. I really love it, I've only ran it in a two gun match with irons but it shoots so well. Just got my optic plate yesterday and mounted the 407Comp because I figured almost all optics look goofy on these so lean into it. Plus I will run this suppressed when NV season rolls back around. Fuckin Shoot Straight in Florida.....I went shooting here in Ft Myers Friday. I always look on the way out . The sale table had the 92XI's on sale for $649. The cerakoted ones. M81 Woodland specifically. I've always liked them but they were always $849-899. Cool but not that cool. Sales kid walked by and I said thats cool, but not cool enough. He said no the tag is $599. That didn't help. Then he says "And you get a $100 rebate from Beretta". So a Beretta 92XI for $499 and tax. I'm old and have sworn to stop buying things like this. And yes, it came home with me. FYI-- 92XI's are Vertec grip, light mount, frame mounted safety, and cut for optics. I keep repeating "I don't need the VTN or Desert Storm versions". |
