***Edit: have now gleaned enough info to be sure of the answer.  Same as below, but the C.O.R.E. model also uses sights with a different fit.  Looks like I'm good to go.  Ordered TruGlo TFX with the Tritium/Fibre Optic combo.  Had that type on my Glock 43.

I've got an M&P 2.0 in .45 that came with a threaded barrel and 'tall' sights.   I'm thinking about replacing the sights, maybe night sights, but wanted to check to see if 2.0 sights are the same (regarding fit) across the calibers.  Just want to avoid purchasing the wrong thing.

Looking at the S&W website, it looks like both M&P 1.0 and 2.0 use the same sights and no calibers are mentioned other than sights for the .22 and .380 EZ, so it would appear that there's no problem, but thought it would be a good idea to run it by some folks here, as well.

All 2.0 guns use the same sights, except the CORE which uses glock style sights because of the optic plate.

Thanks for that info.  I've seen a couple and thought they looked different but never really looked into it.

That explains why the machine shops show milling the M&P dovetail for a Glock co-witness rear sight.  There is no M&P co-witness rear sight.
