Thinking about buying a 10mm EAA P Match Pro, but I'm somewhat concerned with the grip size.  Anyone have any experience with them?  Thanks

I picked up a P Match. Same as the pro but with Magwell and single action. I wanted a 10mm for a while and I didn’t really want a 1911 style 10mm. I was a little worried that the lighter polymer frame was going to make the recoil a little too much. The recoil isn’t a problem at all. I really like shooting the P Match. The trigger is great, the sights are very easy to pick up. It does suck that the gun only comes with one magazine and with the magwell you have to buy special mags made just for this model. Not a big deal, but something to know. For the price you really can’t beat it.

Thanks for your insight, can you tell me if it has a slide cut for a red dot?

The slide is not cut for a red dot sight.

Its a big pistol.  I think it has changeable backstraps for sizing.

The back straps are not interchangeable.

Is the grip smaller, or larger than the G20?

No clue. I’m not a glock guy.

I'm planning on getting one in 10mm, with a .40S&W barrel to go along with it.  The backstrap looks wide enough to spread out the 10mm recoil pretty well.

Got mine a few days ago, thankfully it is smaller more ergonomic than the G20.

I'd really appreciate some high-res pics if you get the chance.

Also, Ben Stoger Pro Shop has the red dot plates for $50 if you want to go that route.

Excellent, thanks.  Is that a standard Bomar rear sight cut?

From what I have read they are not the same as the Bomar sight cut.  I haven't looked in to it, but I believe Henning shop.com has sights that will fit.

My Stock 2 is a beast, but the grip is not as thick as it would seem. I have Lok palmswells on my Shadow, and thin bogies on my Stock 2. The Stock 2 is thinner side to side, but longer front to back  than the CZ if that makes sense.

I’m really interested in any additional insight on this. The large frame glock is just a touch too big for me to feel great with the trigger reach. P Match grip really a bit smaller? Width or length or both?  Thanks!

I don't have access to the Glock anymore to measure, but the width is for sure smaller, and I believe the length is too.  The large frame glock was just a bit too large for me, not that I couldn't shoot it, but it just wasn't comfortable for me.  So far I'm really happy with the EAA, the only thing is finding a good holster is kinda a PIA.

I’m ok with the beretta 92.  Any user comparisons to the eaa p match lg frame re: grip size?

My dad has a 92, I'll go compare the two tomorrow and let you know.  I haven't shot a 92 in a while, but I can't remember it being uncomfortable.
