Have it on my P365xl, and I find it just to be a bit dim indoors.  I can see it, but if drawing quickly, it takes me a bit to pick it up, even though its in the frame.  

Outdoors it seems to adjust itself well enough, so its not that the dot can't get bright enough, it just doesn't.  

I tried a new battery, made sure its seated well, all seems good.  

I might try to look at an 8MOA variant and see if its any better.  


Its on my carry gun and would like it to be brighter.  Fortunately the built in back up rear site works great.

Before swapping to an 8MOA variant, swap to a 507k.

Even though they look cool, I'm not going to consider purchasing a Shield RDS until they come out with manual brightness controls.
