https://www.soldoncompass.com/They have at least one, sometimes as many as four, firearms auctions every month. The RO was from their 6/30 auction. They will ship to an out of state FFL. I went to one of their auctions in person, before the plague outbreak. You can track the online bidders on screens at their showrooms. They get bidders from all over the country via HiBid and ProxyBid.
Over the last couple of years I've purchased four guns that sort of fell through the cracks with bidders. Usually, guns get bid up over what they would sell for new. If it's something I really want I'll make a single bid of what I'm willing to spend, plus fees and tax. In person bidders get the lowest premium added. I've also sold stuff through them, the last being a 1100 round lot of WWII corrosive 45ACP. I had bought it for $220, it sold for just over $1000, they got 10%.
