I carry a HK VP9 aiwb without a light currently.  I already have a x300 on a different gun and I’m curious if it’s going to be comfortable to carry that big of a light aiwb before I spend $100 on a new holster.

If any of you have ever carried one could you please give me some input?  Thanks

I carry a Roland Special (G19/RMR/X300) in a raven concealment phantom.  It took some getting used to, but it’s not uncomfortable.

Can absolutely be done. Travel over to pistolforum.com and check out the 100+ page review thread on AIWB and the JMCK reviews. Pretty sure every member there is an AIWB convert. Lots of good info and experiences.

I tried it, the modern holsters are quite comfortable but I just couldn't get the bulk to conceal.

Others have had better luck but you won't know until you try.

I'm 5' 10" and 172 lbs, I don't think I can lose too much.

No, but if you build up your back/chest/shoulders it helps in concealing too.

Roland special all day everyday, after wearing it for a week or so it was no different than carrying same gun with no light.

Drove from Dallas to San Fran in 24 hours wearing a Bawidamann Gotham and JMCK AIWB mag pouch. The most comfortable X300 holster I've tried due to no kydex edges in your leg crease.

Shocking how comfortable the bawidaman is. Just a bit bulky but all wml holsters are.

I've said it before, but I carry a Glock 17L with a  x300u in a phlster spotlight holster. Carry it appendix everyday of the week. Carried a regular 17 without a light before that and didn't really notice the addition of slide length and girth of the light.

I just went from the XC1 to an X300U on my EDC G19, I got tired of the XC1 being just too little light.
