Friends, is a 38 super 1911 a good candidate to convert to 9x23?
Local gs has a sweet Sig 1911 in 38 super.
Is it my understanding that a ream job should be all that's needed?
I also have already a Springer, {pre forstock in mouth} 9mm luger.

For some reason I require a 9x23 or something along those lines.
Not super though.

Thank you for your time.

Thanks Dave.
I have never fit a 1911 barrel but I have chambered a few things.

I could rent a reamer and gauges.

Not sure what is the best way to go yet.

I could brush up on how to fit a 1911 barrel.
Order a kart barrel and fit it.

Then chamber it.

But if I boff the fitting up, that would suckage greatly.

Just sort of brain storming and blowing the breeze for now.
