What magazine are you using? I bought 5 Brownells mags and they won’t drop free. The factory mag which I believe is mec-gar drops free fine. Thanks

I have a 5" Ronin 9mm, I use the factory mag, WC mags, and I believe a few metalform(unmarked) mags... when I first got the pistol mags were very hard to insert and did not like to "fall free"... I found the mag release to be very hard to press, and after trimming a few coils off the mag release spring all the mags insert easily, and fall free, not to mention the mag release is actually easier to depress. Maybe the factory release spring was a tad to stiff or long to get the mag release to fully disengage?
all I know is it works great now. |
