Ok, I know...

First...I'm a 20er that's been lurking for a couple years, and finally joined up to take advantage of the Equipment Exchange.  So go easy on me, I'm here to learn.

My eyes are getting to the point where the RDS flat out makes the most sense, however I do enjoy the challenge of irons.

I'm ready to invest, hear lots of good things on Holosun, and I really like the size/aesthetics of the 507k.  Host would be a G19 or M&P2.0 compact.  Maybe even a P365 in the future.

Pro's:
Would force my presentation to improve to find the dot
Smaller foot print, less weight
Could potentially help my shooting with irons
Side loading battery
Just plain looks better than the 507C
Flush with the slide, no overhang

Con's:
Smaller window, harder to track the dot in recoil
Would initially amplify my shitty presentation

What am I missing?

So far as I can tell, the cons would force me to train, and once that's accomplished, I'm a better overall shooter....

If anyone has already mounted one on a G19, post up some pics!

I've got a 407C on a 2.0 compact 4", 507C on a P10C
and a 407K on my 365XL.
Just my opinion, run the K on an a smaller gun like XL
or single stack, run a larger optic on a 2.0 compact / G19,
You'll never notice any weight difference and appreciate
the larger window, don't worry...
If you're serious about it, you'll train (far more dry than
live fire) and improve with irons but won't want to go
back to them.

I'm interested in this as well, 507k on a G19 G5 MOS, mostly for the reasons OP said. My understanding is that it might require a new adapter plate.

If anyone has done this or has any recommendations on it, please comment.

Also, if anyone knows what plate to use and where to get it, I'd appreciate it.

I’d get as big of a window as you reasonably can.

507 on a G19/M&P size gun, 507k on a narrow slide like a 365/Shield.

The 507K fits even with the cocking serrations on a G19 slide.I happen to like the size & fit in spite of the rear gap  Have to check the cowitness on the front sight  

I decided to go with the 507C. Seems like less hassle since it fits the RMR plate and a good optic to boot.
