Have not shot it yet but man it looks nice and feels great. I did some slide racking for a while then cleaned it. as others have said, the cerakote comes off like a thick sharpie. I might continue that a couple times since I wont be able to get to the range for a bit. Stacatto mags, holsters, EGW ignition kit, EGW slide release, and Dawson guide rod are on the way.

Keep taking the slide off every couple hundred racks and clean the rails out, then re lube and repeat. It is amazing how much Cerakote sludge will end up coming out of that thing. Definitely will slow your slide down on range trips. Take care of it now and you'll have a sewing machine. |

Yes sir, exactly what I've been doing. I tend to do this with most new handguns and ARs. Man this thing is kinda "dirty" though. I just took it down again and cleaned it for a 2nd time, it was definitely better than the first run but still sludgey. It'll get another couple hundred racks and another cleaning this weekend. |

Based on plenty of recommendations both here and elsewhere, I recently sent my grip off to our very own KDuly for grip reduction and stippling. Just an exceptional experience all the way around and very high quality work. I cant recommend him enough. @Kduly

couple of modified Apollo 11's.  New grip modules, Prodigy's, new MSH's (one has a prodigy, the other is a EGW), new trigger's, grip safeties, and thumb safeties. All this because I really did not like the stock grip. When my hands started to get hot, the grip felt pliable as it too heated up. |

I love my P so much that I bought a CS to carry. I was moving between carrying the P and my shield, so now I can put the magwell back on the P. Anyone have any thoughts on a holster for the 2024 CS? The Tenicor that came with it says not to use it if you have a safe queen; their holster will scratch it—yeah, fine, bless their heart. It won't be a safe queen by any means, but I don't go out of my way to scratch my weapons, either. Carry or otherwise....my coffee table, not so much. :P Attached File |
