Is the LCI really causing optics to get dirty excessively quicker?

Have you guys had good luck with the included plates? Are they still plastic?

Answer to first question is yes.

The plastic plates are ok, but I am going to use the C&H Precision adapter plate with a Holosun 507c-X2

I have a direct milled slide with a SRO and a 1.0 Core milled out to 2.0 specs. The direct mill is cut further to the rear than the core cut, but I get soot on the SRO after about 20 rounds. My core slide with a leupold DPP gets a lot less dirty. It’s really not an issue though because you shouldn’t be looking through the optic anyway. Tape the front of the optic lens in practice and you’ll see what I mean.

No experience with plastic plates.
