Over the weekend, I bought a used 2.0 compact from my local shop. It had what I thought was an Apex forward set trigger with the curved shoe installed. I tried it in the shop, it felt good, had the short travel and reset I wanted, and was a little heavier than I was expecting but swapping springs isn't hard. Went to the range and shot it. Everything works just fine and I shoot it better than my full size duty gun with the factory trigger.

I get home to clean it, I see a green heavy duty Apex trigger return spring...and an oem R marked sear. I haven't disassembled further to see what sear spring is in it.

I gather the R sear is a competition sear from the 1.0 M&Ps. What I don't know is how this sear works with the Apex parts. Am I overthinking this or was some fudd magic done to this to make it work?
